Anti Wrinkle Injection (Botox)

By using facial muscles repeatedly, the skin becomes creased in areas of greatest use. The ageing process causes the slow down of collagen and elastin production in the skin and as we get older, the areas of over-use become damaged and lines become permanent.

If we reduce the movement of muscles in these overused areas, the skin stops becoming creased and is allowed to recover, causing the lines to soften and possibly even fade away. Botulinum toxin works by temporarily making these muscles inactive, during which time you can break the subconscious habit of overusing these muscles.

Dermal Fillers

As we grow older our skin loses moisture and elasticity and begins to show the signs of ageing. As a result of this the skin develops fixed lines and depressions which are characteristic of an ageing face.

The most common areas affected are the nasiolabial folds (between the nose and mouth) and the marionette lines (downward lines from the corners of the mouth). From the age of 30, the cheek areas of our face loses volume due to fat loss and collagen depletion. Dermal fillers can restore volume, correct wrinkles, folds and lines of the face. This procedure is also effective in lip augmentation.

Medical Skin Needling {DermaRolling)

Skin Microneedling is the umbrella term for a variety of different treatments that are designed to reduce the appearance of skin damage such as scarring, dark marks, sun damage and ageing. Very small needles cause tiny punctures in the skin; these small wounds encourage the body's natural healing response and renew the skin cells. As the skin repairs itself the production collagen and elastin is triggered to give an almost immediate plumped and rejuvenated effect.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) or Plasma Lift

Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, also called plasma rich in growth factors, is blood plasma with concentrated platelets and other growth factors. The concentrated platelets found in PRP contain huge reservoirs of bioactive proteins, including growth factors and signalling proteins that are vital to initiate and accelerate tissue repair and regeneration, and stimulate the rejuvenating process. The PRP signals the body to send in stem cells to repair the designated area.

To prepare PRP, a small amount of blood is taken from the patients arm. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins and separates the platelets from the rest of the blood components. The entire process takes less than 15 minutes and increases the concentration of platelets and growth factors up to 600%. Using the patient's own blood, specially prepared platelets are taken and re-injected into the chosen area. These platelets release special growth factors that lead to tissue healing. By using the concentrated platelets, the growth factors are increased by up to eight times. The whole process takes about one hour. PRP injections actually rejuvenate the area over a period of time, ranging from one to three months.

PRP Therapy For Hair

Androgenetic Alopecia or 'male pattern-baldness' is a common cause of hair loss that affects both men and woman, and is often linked to depression and low self-esteem. PRP was recently developed as an effective treatment.

An independent study of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia over few years period by doctors found that PRP was an effective treatment for both men and women, with a high patients' satisfaction rating and without remarkable adverse effects.

With a thin needle, your own Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is injected into the scalp. Then the growth factors in your blood cells do their job and hair growth is naturally stimulated.

It is a state of the art, non surgical, totally natural, alternative medical procedure used for the treatment of hair loss or hair thinning. It is an injectable treatment which uses the patient's own blood. Our blood plasma (PRP) contains active growth factors which can promote hair growth. Helping to restore one's confidence, the end result is a fuller, healthier looking head of hair.
